Fire Pump Services

Often the most critical — and most overlooked — component of a water-based system. We perform all required ITM: weekly no-flow testing for diesel drivers, monthly no-flow testing for electric, and annual full-flow performance testing per NFPA 20. Routine ITM preserves pump reliability, catches developing issues before they become costly failures, and satisfies increasingly strict property insurance carrier requirements. A pump that underperforms in an emergency is a liability no report can fix.

Standpipe Systems

Per NFPA and AHJ standards we perform all required inspections, testing and certification of Class I, II and III standpipe and hose systems — this includes remote hose outlet flow tests, individual Class I PRV hose valve flow testing for pressure setting verification, Class II fire hose pressure testing, FDC inspection, and other 5-year inspection items. Combination sprinkler/standpipe systems receive separate standpipe AES reports filed alongside fire sprinkler reports as required.

CA Fire Code Compliance

Know Your Required Inspection Schedule

California law mandates regular inspection and testing of all water-based fire suppression systems under NFPA 25 and Title 19 of the California Code of Regulations. Non-compliance can result in system impairment notices, failed fire inspections, and increased insurance liability.

Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
All inspection reports are filed with your local fire authority. We manage all paperwork and communication on your behalf.
Written Certification
Upon passing inspection, your system receives official certification documentation and a tamper-proof tag for AHJ verification.
Deficiency Management
Any deficiencies are documented with itemized repair bids per NFPA 25 §4.1.5.1. We prioritize urgent items to minimize impairment time.

Water-Based Systems

All System Types. One Certified Contractor.

We are licensed and equipped to inspect, test, certify and repair every type of water-based fire extinguishing system recognized under NFPA 25 and the California Fire Code.

WET
Wet Pipe Sprinkler Systems
The most common system type. Pipes are always filled with pressurized water, ready for immediate discharge upon sprinkler activation.
NFPA 13 / NFPA 25
DRY
Dry Pipe Sprinkler Systems
Pipes filled with pressurized air or nitrogen. Used in unheated areas. Water releases when a sprinkler activates and air pressure drops.
NFPA 13 / NFPA 25
PRE
Pre-Action Systems
Require a supplemental detection event before water can flow. Used in computer rooms, data centers, and archives where accidental discharge is unacceptable.
NFPA 13 / NFPA 25
DEL
Deluge Systems
All sprinkler heads are open. Water discharges from all heads simultaneously when the deluge valve opens. Used in high-hazard occupancies.
NFPA 13 / NFPA 25
STD
Standpipe Systems
Fixed piping with hose connections for firefighter use. Class I, II, and III systems certified per NFPA 14, including hose valve and outlet pressure testing.
NFPA 14 / NFPA 25
FP
Fire Pump Systems
Electric and diesel fire pumps providing required water pressure and flow. Annual churn tests, performance tests, and acceptance testing per NFPA 20.
NFPA 20 / NFPA 25

Client Reviews

Trusted by Property Managers Across the Bay Area

"They found a deficiency in our fire sprinkler system during the annual inspection that two other companies missed over three years. The repair was done fast, documented perfectly, and our AHJ signed off without any more problems."

MH
Michael G.
Commercial Property Manager

"Our building failed its fire inspection due to outdated documentation. Fire Protection Company came out within two days, performed the full NFPA 25 inspection, and had our certification filed before the deadline. Saved us significant fines."

SR
Sandra R.
HOA Board President

"We manage 14 commercial properties and trust one company with all of them. The inspection reports are thorough, the technicians know their code cold, and they've never missed a scheduled appointment in four years."
